re my question about my cherry tree, many thanks to all four answers. They've given me some good ideas, the drought answer immediately springs to mind, this year very dry and with clay soil the ground gets very hard. No picture at present. The fruit forms nice and green, but as soon as they sart to fatten up they go brown and fall off. So watering and a good manure shall be my first plans of action and hope this works. Many thanks for your tips, From June in Dover
