raspberries

I planted a raspberry cane about 5 years ago and the following 2 years I had loads of fruit. As the bush was getting rather large I pruned it down to the ground at the end of the season and now I just have a few shoots popping up here and there. Help!!! What should I do?

I am afraid you probably cut off the fruiting canes when you cut the whole lot down. Raspberry canes need to have the old canes cut out each year and the new ones tied in, as they are the fruiting ones. It isn't really a bush as such, more a collection of individual shoots. You'll get fruit next year!
