We have started to dismantle some old chicken coops on the allotment and I have got some marine plywood sheets that I am thinking of using as a flooring for my greenhouse and part of my polytunnel as I think it would make a great weed barrier along with some membrane that is used as a barrier for concrete flags any thought on this would be much appreciated.

I'd also think they would be quite slippy underfoot too.

Hi Bulbaholic
I can think of a few good uses off the allotment but I do not want to take it off the allotment because its frowned upon when materials that are offered free for use on the allotment.

Then offer them to someone else on the allotment then they can stay in house as it were.

ply will delaminate with the wet and as said be slippery . put it on brick it will last longer but it makes a great home for unwanted animals .

Valuable material that will rot in a year or two with that use. Can't you think of anything better, Steve? Give the sheets air exposure on each face and they will last for years to come.
