My Anthurium fever plant is not well, it has no flowers, when new leaves appear. after a while the leaves have a brown line in the middle with a tare, also some have dark brown spots at the edges. I have it on my kitchen window sill were there is good light. What should i do to make it better.............

found this on the net.
Anthuriums grow best with day temperatures of 78 to 90 F, [30-40 celcius] and night temperatures of 70 to 75 F. 21-25 C. Temperatures above 90 F may cause foliar burning, faded flower color, and reduced flower life. Night temperatures between 40 to 50 F [10 C] can result in slow growth and yellowing of lower leaves. Anthuriums will not tolerate frost or freezing conditions.
I wonder if your kitchen is getting too cold for it on a night. is it behind a blind/curtain close to the glass. perhaps moving it into a warmer room at night and back on the cill during the day may help.

No responses yet, Beautiful, probably because no one knows what this plant is. Do you have another name for it or can you put up a picture?
