I'm in Milton Keynes.

It's about six inches deep in our garden, fountain is frozen solid.

I have never seen so many birds feeding at the same time here - am having to put out extra food to keep them supplied.

No snow falling at the moment.

edge of yorkshire wolds 3" overnight. very cold, small crystals that would be drizzle if it were warmer.

my lab down to 13C heating packed up but in the middle of a 4hr experiment that has to be allowed to run. wish I had put my thermals on. but office is 24C heat wave.

Keep getting a few tiny flurries but nothing settling. However, it is cold in the wind. I was sent out to dig some parsnips for dinner yesterday and have never found the ground to be so hard - we didn't get any parsnips ;-(((

In SE London, the snow is the thickest I've seen it in a few years (about 5 inches). Some parts seem to be thawing now and turning to slush. Still, it's nowhere as bad as other parts of the country so can't complain. Have to say they have kept the main roads clear and public transport working fairly well this time round so it hasn't been such a nightmare like it has been in previous years where we actually got less snow.

A winter wonderland here..about 8" fell overnight..on top of what we had at the weekend..not thawing at all ..750 schools closed in our region..but children having lots of fun..all main roads open,but no bus services on side roads..They have done a great job in keeping traffic moving,wherever possible..Had the local radio on all day,for latest updates...very useful...

Still lying in garden here in Brussels. Temperatures into the positives now thank goodness.

5" deep here but no more snow today so far. The main roads are OK but the side roads are treacherous. We live on a hill and it was impossible to get up it with a car yesterday so we've all been out with snow shovels and salt today. I've been out with my broom and shaken the snow off some of the shrubs and the bamboo which was bent over so far it was touching the ground.

The birds are eating so much I shall have to try and get out tomorrow for more food.

What snow is that? Ours might be still to come by the forecast.

We have about 6" of snow up on our hill in W. Sussex, although we thought it was starting to melt at lunchtime. Supplement our expensive gas heating with open fires - very cosy. Have found 14kg bags of bird seed at Wyevale garden centre - 2 for £20 instead of £17.99 each - bargain and the birds love it.

Wow its heavy snow again and a roaring loud wind.

Certainly would not want to be driving in this .

Here in the east midlands its quite rough, could not get out the back door this morning ten foot drift, ok so ime exagerating, but its very thick here and has been snowing on and off all day, looks very picturesque.

Very little here - had snow fall on and off all day but nothing is lying! That wind is picking up and gales are expected tonight!!

The snow thanks you for your concern and says it is doing very nicely thank-you, but please lay off the salt, it does it no good at all.

Snow is so wild everyone and sounds like a train .

Light snow fell all day in Bracknell yesterday but didn't really add to the four inches we had on Friday. A slight thaw this afternoon which will freeze tonight.
