I am getting married on 25th May 2013 and I would like to grow my own bouquet for the tables and for my own bridle bouquet. What do you suggest I grow?
Many thanks for your time and help in advance.

Its a lovely idea but May can be a bit difficult - the bulbs are over and most of the perennials haven't got going.
You could probably do table decorations with polyanthuses and whatever greenery you have available.Or you could have actual polyanthus plants in small containers with perhaps some moss - Late tulips are a possibility but depending on the weather it would be hard to guarantee having them out when you want them.In an early season in your southerly climate you might get some early roses.
I think there are one or two hardy geraniums ( like the blue flowers in you picture) that flower that early, but new plants may not have had time to establish enough to flower in time. Sorry I can't suggest varieties - there is one with purple leaves but I've forgotten its name. Not much help am I? In any case when growing your own its always as well to have a florist as backup just in case.

Hello Abbeyjoll :)
My daughter is getting married on exactly the same day! She has asked me to "grow" her wedding flowers for her...which is quite a daunting task I can tell you!! I am planning on lots of informal "arrangements" based on tulips, and whatever's around in the garden...last year I made lots of notes of what was in flower during that week, and also the weather (it was a heat wave...probably be the opposite this year!!)
So much depends on the weather...but I'm keeping my fingers crossed that my peonies will be in bloom, as well as the tulips (I've planted lots of Tulip "Queen of the Night", "Abigail" and "Shirley" which flowered well in late May last year...and will go well with her "purple and cream" colour scheme. ) I've drawn the line at doing her bouquet though, and the bridesmaid's bouquet, and said she really needs to order them from a florist. It's a specialist job arranging a bridal bouquet and I know my limitations, lol!!
Anyway...the very best of luck with your wedding!! I love your pic, and how you've arranged those lovely flowers in jars on the gingham cloth...with the vintage china...just gorgeous!! If I was getting married (again) that's just the "look" I would go for...:)) x

Getting anything to flower for a specific day is a huge challenge. May is too early for annuals to be flowering so you are going to have to work with what is already in your garden, supplemented from the hedgerow, GC or a supermarket. You can create a bouquet from just about anything if you put your mind to it... trailing ivy, box, and whatever flowers you happen to have. Just don't expect there to be a colour theme!
Assuming the image is yours, we are not supposed to post other folks images, simply do what you did before with little glasses... A lot of the wild flowers will not survive very long in cut form.

chaenomeles and viburnum should both be in flower in May but how many flowers do you anticipate needing. How big is your garden and when did you plant any flowering plants in the garden. Of the common plants in the garden Lady's Mantle and apple blossom would be good choices. If you have forget me nots in the garden they would work. May blossom, hawthorn should be in bloom, you might be able to find that in the hedges. Here is a link to a website which might help you. Of the choices given for May the phalaenopsis or dendrobium orchids might be a good choice but you would need to treat as an indoor plant.
