What is the difference between Normal Sugar or SU varieties and Sugary Enhanced or SE types of sweet corn I have been busy buying this years seeds and wondered what type of sweet corn to buy.

A Goyer recommended F1 variety 'Lark' as best.
I found this is not in local garden centres. They must be saving it for genuine customers who know how to use it.
It is on page 135 in Thompson & Morgan's Seed Catalogue
so I sent cost + postage for one packet, and it came through my door a couple of weeks later.

I suspect it is to do with the amount of sugar the plant makes and stores in the kernal. Different varieties will be sweeter than others. Dont know what the actual issues stand for. some one will know and add corrections.
