Thanks everyone. The runoff is coming from my lawn towards the house's gable where there is a path. It's lying there and the two drains one at each end are not coping with all the water. This only happens when it has been raining hard.

Thats a good idea SBG .
I pm saying to get a wall or raised bed at base of slope so rainwater never flowed to house.

Hi this is a follow on to your previous question isnt it? I still think a small gully may be your answer. I know I suggested it but if we have the rain like last year you will need to make sure the house remains dry.
