I got an email photo on boxing day from a friend on the south coast, daffodils flowering in their local park.
Mine in the midlands are still tight buds.....

i dont even have buds yet , just tips of leaves 2" tall max.

So considering where I'm living I'm doing well so far, but it's early days yet.

Seems so Hank, it can also depend on the varieties too

The next village to us has some that flower around Christmas and they are over now. But later varieties planted with them are just ready to take over. I have one miniature and one tall one out in the garden and lots of buds on the big ones.
