not sure about a five yr rate but it grows to 80ft apparently. It is considered to be an invasive species in many areas of the usa. not mch help i am afraid. but it is one big tree when fully grown.

I have grown this from seed before. By it's third or fourth year it can produce shoots of a metre each year and it will do this for about five years before starting to slow down.
