When is the best time to prune wisteria and how much do I take off? I have two plants one is about three years old, is growing very well but has never flowered and the second one I planted last summer.

Thank you that's really helpful, I'll wait until March and hopefully we will see some blossom this year.

You can take off any pieces that are hanging down in the pathway etc., but March is the best time as after pruning the buds will develop and get frosted if you prune too soon. Deadwood at the same time.
