Hellebores.
For the first time I have planted hellebores in my garden. Now that spring is almost over and they are coming to the end of their flowering period what care do they need now?
Should I do anything? The flowers are pure white and have been beautiful. - Many thanks Philip.

Agree with Scotkat's advice on growing hellebores, the seedlings wont come true to the parent but you can still end up with some interesting plants.

I have been advised to cut off the old leaves; they're not needed, and the plant will have more light.

Hello and welcome to GOY John.
I just leave my many helabores to fall naturally when past blooming then prune to tidy up .
Over the years now of growing I am finding many seedlings.
So yesterday I potted up my pink speckled helebore seedlings.
Not sure if they shall bloom true to same as parent flower.
Most of all enjoy the beauties they can be very addictive.
