Over the Winter my laurel hedge has suffered extensive damage. Its no exaggeration to say that 90% of the leaves are lacy. I thought at first it would be the dreaded vine weevil, but its so bad and it has happened over a few months. Any ideas anyone?

It maybe a bacterial leaf desease, laurel shothole perhaps, you could try cutting it back, they always respond well.
