I grew minipop baby sweet corn last year, I planted them in a square grid and the spacing was about 8 inches between each plant. Do not plant them in rows they will not pollinate as well. I religiously tapped each plant every time I walked past to help release pollen and had really good crops from them.

My tip is to keep it is free sun as the corn does not ripen if shaded. I had other veg and fruit grow up and around it and those that got shaded ripened poorly (apart from the poor sun last year).

Hi Andrea, I also grew some last year for the first time and I had great success. I must say that even if they fail to produce any corn they are beautiful plants which are worth having anyway which I'm sure you're aware of
I actually ate most of the corn straight from the plant raw as it was so tasty, I'm attempting to grow them this year too so hopefully we will be enjoying them like you too!
