Can anyone tell me the name of this stunning perennial grass please. I bought it yesterday from our church plant stall, all the lady said was that it was a lime-green grass....:o)) Its much more fluid than Hakonechloa and is ribbon like when caught by the wind.

Surreylad is right. It likes damp shade, and can be a bit free with its seedlings

Not Luzula sylvatica 'Aurea'?

Trust me to confuse Molinia with Milium, but I'm happy to have the correct name, now, for mine :)

Not too sure now Bamboo, the foliage is very similar. I'll have to wait till the seed heads appear for definite. They both need shady and damp conditions.
Well, Sheila, we thought it was!

I love this. I have a similar one - a Molinia - but don't know its second name; deciduous, and will spread slowly.
