Rhubarb will grow in a position with plenty of sun, I would mix garden soil and compost together and put it in a Half Barrel and make sure you put in plenty of drainage in the bottom of the Barrel as they don't like to get water logged.
Give the plants plenty of water and fertiliser during the warmer months. Occasionally add some Blood & Bone.
In late winter divide clumps about every three years.
Potted Rhubarb needs more care than Rhubarb in the ground..
These pots can be connected to an automatic or manual drip watering system. I put 2 crownd in the ground last year One was called Pink Champagne which my dear old Dad when alive grow and the taste was Luvely, I also put a Strawberry Rhubarb in too but yet too find out what that one taste's like.
