Please can anyone ID this plant? Seen in an Open Garden yesterday, and grown by an elderly lady who would be delighted to have it named.

I'd have said an amaryllis cultivar, although it's a bit early. I had a quick look to see which one but as there are quite a few I sort of gave up! Perhaps 'Johannesburg'?

A lady I know suggested Rhodophiala bifida. Any thoughts, as the Cyrtanthus seems to be tender, and this plant lives outside all year round, in a pot.

That's interesting. I'll have to tell her there are several options as to what it might be, then.
