Good Morning...I have this lovely Clematis growing over an old water pump,and it looks grand. Its very much admired by friends but when they ask me what it is called I have to say I do not know....but then I thought I bet I know someone who does...so don't let me down.

No I don't think that's it....Montana Elizabeth is more like the Montana growing over a pergola to the right of the photo,Elizabeth also has a yellow centre. But Thanks for your interest.

Yes I'm sure you are right about that...there are so many Montana... if I have no luck here I will maybe trawl thru them until I find it. Thanks again

Do you know Worthy1 I think you've got it....By George!!
I looked the species up and found this description which fits perfectly.
"Clematis Montana 'Marjorie' has pretty, small, pale cream 4-petalled flowers that open pale green, and mature into cream with rosy pink and red blushes. Stamens are a lime green, with fine inner petals surrounding like a collar"
