About 2", but it's a bit late for this year, Guest! If you've got some, plant them in a pot this year and hope that they flower - then plant them in the soil once they've finished.

If the bulbs are still OK then they will just flower late this year. Plant in the garden in autumn and they will return to normal next year. A friend of mine had Daffodils in June from late planted bulbs!!
