I have been given some "worm juice" - the effluent as the result of a friend's wormery. I have diluted it as instructed but would like to know if it can be used on my orchids as I know they require different feeding from most plants. At the moment I only water them with rain water and they seem to be doing fine. They are not my choice but I have inherited both of them.

Ok, have now inherited my nieces orchid today which is in a sorry state. Haven't fed it yet, just water from the butt. I will keep you updated.

I would think it would need to be thinned down even more for orchids as, if they're of the commoner types, they rely on rain/mist borne nutrients via their aerial roots. Be interested to know
