Why do my cauliflowers look yellow and brown and uneven are they edible? Can I do anything to save them? This is the first time I have grown them see photo attached

Yup they have 'bolted' the really hot weather pushed them into this.

Well we've often eaten purple sprouting broccoli that's gone too far and is nearly in flower. I'd definitely not waste them if a trial run turns out to be edible.

Thank you for the advice will try them out on my husband and if he throws up I will compost them!!!!!!!!

Make sure that they are planted firmly in the soil, they like to be compacted around the roots, and like others have said don't let them get too dry.
