Tomatoes - next year's plan.
Bear with me, I've just had my cataract sorted and my left eye's useless so I can hardly see the screen.
I had planned to set Brandywine toms next year but having read comments about them maybe I won't. But no more Marmande,Alicante, Sun Baby etc - although these were ok, Gardeners Delight were better. But I want some larger ones so Roma sound a possibility but what do you
guys think ?
I look forward to your suggestions.

I have grown them too and would describe them as middle sized, and agree, the newer varieties seem sweeter and quicker to ripen

Wish I was Steve Gerard so I did not have to push trolleys at tesco for a living just a link to some interesting toms also I grew KIRSCHKLUMPEN tom last year and they are unusual and hard to find seeds.

Thanks again people, my list is now Golden Sunrise, Kirsch etc, Cherokee Purple and perhaps Shirley. But I still like the iidea of Brandywine if I can find them. Those will do nicely. I went down to the local Garden Centre late this afternoon and spotted some Golden Sunrise, but not the others.
