Can anyone tell me the name of this Hydranga, I have had it a number of years it was given to me by a friend, but we cannot remember its proper name, the heads are very big as you can see but the stems are so thin that they cannot carry the weight of the flower so I have to tie it to a cane but then it does not show it off at its best.

Hydrangea 'Annabelle'. See a later question.

Best way to deal with that is to prune it to the ground in February. That way you get shorter stems which can hold the weight of the flowers better.
