Hi Everyone... An id for you, basically the leaf are echinacea but the sea urchin type plant ??,being curious as i am and the fact it started of very small to begin with, but it has put on so much weight in the last month or so and im worried that it might be taking too much goodness out of the soil and if its something i would like to keep how do i seperate it ? ....any help would be so appreciated and i hope your all well... with thanks p.

The grassy thing is a sedge or rush. I would empty the pot and separate the plants. It would be normal to throw the sedge out.
