what soil/compost is best for fruit in containers

Just a word of warning, but I kept on losing stawberry plants planted in compost to vine weevil grubs. The plants in the open ground were fine tho. If you've got open ground to plant in, then personally I think that's better than using compost, if you've got the option.

Hello Guest, If you are talking about soft fruit (strawberries etc.) then I would use a general compost mixed with your soil.
