The runners on my strawberries have mostly not rooted ,but have the small white nodules .
Will they root OK if I cut them from the parent plant and pot up to house in the cold greenhouse ?
Only very few have rooted themselves,and these do have fine brown roots.These I have separated from the parent and potted up.I really need more !

Rather than cutting them off and then potting them up, I would leave them attached to the parent plant and peg them each down into a pot.
Allow the parent plant to support them while they form a root system, separate them and move to the greenhouse once they have their own root system in place.
