Agree with Bloomer - if its not a patio rose, the others don't do well in containers, they need to put down at least one deep root.

On the other hand, if it IS a patio rose, you still need a pretty large container, and you'll need to feed and water your rose regularly too.

You don't say what type of rose,Ianid. Containers are more suitable for Patio roses,the other varieties are best in the ground.
