Ebb Tide new last year

This is Ebb tide, bought from the Fragrant Rose company last year. I planted it this spring. It is the darkest rose I have and has lovely perfume. I took these pics yesterday.
I think it’s rather beautiful. This next pic is of the very smallest hydrangea limelight flowers I could find, one of the big flowers would fill the vase alone lol, and the lovely vanille frais and a lacecap.
This is a vanille frais head which sadly broke off, I think the colours so beautiful.
Thanks for looking:-)

Hi Chris, do you mean I could become an "influencer" ??? I hear they make a fortune lol Maybe a rose company or any old plant company will pay me to advertise their goods \0/ yay:-)

Brilliant Bornagain! “Influencers” are featured every week in our newspaper, and I’ve never heard of any of them . . . so yes, you could be one . . . you have certainly influenced me. Your Ebb Tide rose is absolutely gorgeous!

Ba, I'd give you a reference any day!!! It wouldn't carry much weight but I'd do it for you!!

I love limelight hydrangea. It's not as floppy as other white ones. You need a bigger vase for more limelight hydrangeas.

Flippin' eck Bg, to fit my whoppers in I'd need a new piece of furniture to put the vase on:-)

beautiful colour and form for that rose. I love the depth of it.

I agree with Stera, it is a beautiful colour and I shall be looking at that as a gift for my daughter - she's a purple fanatic!

Thanks Seaburn and honeysuckle, it is rather special and has performed so well considering I only planted it last autumn:-)

Wow that is a fabulous colour Ba, now I'm not letting you influence me as I'm bursting at the seams already, in view of that I will content myself by admiring yours from afar, lol...

Are you sure Lincs? Have you nothing you want to pay me to advertise? :-)

It is something isn't it Chris, I have another dark rose called Minerva also with lovely perfume, but it's not quite so dark:-)

You have set it off beautifully with the soft grey leaves behind ... please could you tell us what they are?

Looking at the third pic Ba.

Been out to see what they can be, conclusion: bluish green fuchsia leaves in big tub, must be a trick of the light I'm afraid Sheila:-(

That rose is something very special. Love the rich colour. I am going to look at the website of the Fragrant Rose Company.
Your hydrangeas are gorgeous and look so pretty in a vase. I might put one or two in a vase too.
You see, you are just full of good ideas!!! :-))
