I would also be grateful for a recommendation of a sweet grape vine, not for wine making but more for table grapes.It doesn't bother me whether it is white or red but one that is a reliable perfomer in Shropshire, south facing garden is important.

I don't know if you can find it easily in the UK, but I grow a lovely little one called 'Pied de Perdrix (Partridge's foot) which is a little pink grape which matures around the end of September. Very tasty and sweet.
