I have purchased a tray of beautiful varied coloured polyanthus.
We are having very cold weather here, snow and ice with freezing temperatures. So I am keeping my plants in our garage overnight. They are still in their pots, but when can I plant them out?
I would be most grateful for information.
Yours sincerely,

I was in the same situation a couple of weeks back and was desparate for some colour so I popped mine in pots outside the back door. They have been frozen solid a couple of times and appear none the worse for it - though I dont know if it will affect them next year.

You COULD put them out but they should be covered with Winter fleece at night. Perhaps its best if you keep them inside for a bit longer.

I'd wait until its warmer the forecast is for this to continue a while longer, my primroses are not blooming yet so as yours have been forced early I'd treat them gently for a while
