I have seen a shrub with black (ebony) branches. The branches are arched with hanging seed heads (lantern) in black varying to green. They are in bloom now (October 23rd). I have not seen it before and would like to know it's name. Regret do not have photo, because I saw it in passing.
Thank you from Lulu.

You could try Googling the black elder, Sambucus nigra to see if that looks the same?
