I have a tiny cutting of a bamboo taken in a pot is it safe to bring it in doors on the window sill for the winter I do not want to kill it with kindness

I'd keep it a cool and well lit spot but with sparse watering. [unheated conservatory/porch would be ideal].

Bamboo will take from cuttings...only if there is roots and a bit of rhyzome. A straight cutting of a stem will die within days. A cool well lit spot as Seaburngirl has suggested will suffice if it is rooted.

Does the cutting have root? Also do you know what type of Bamboo it is?
