Is it a weed, it is very invasive ?

It's a wild flower, and can be invasive if you don't keep on top of it. I always leave some in odd corners and under the apple trees, because I like the ferny foliage and little pink flowers.

I have lots in my garden and like Hywel I leave it wherever it is not crowding other plants. I suppose it is invasive but it is so easy to pull up from where you want it removed that it doesn't present any great problem. I wouldn't like to eradicate it. the early bees like it too.

Great shade plant, and I've got the white flowered form, too.

It is pretty but that awful pong! Horrid!

Ghastly stuff, spreads like wildfire and stinks when you pull it out, and the larger the plant, more it stinks... Still, that's a very personal viewpoint. I have 'em out at the first sign!

That's funny, I'd never noticed a bad smell. I pull it out of flower beds and leave it under the hedge.

I have it in my garden, and pull it up if it grows where it is unwelcome. I think it smells like boiled washing!

I like the smell. It reminds me of Tangerines :o)

My mother loves the smell too. It reminds her of her childhood in the countryside. I don't mind it, but it really reminds me of old-fashioned laundry soap.

Isn't it funny how we perceive smells differently? It's really rank to me. Mind you I can pick up the smell of a smoker at fifty paces - another horrid pong.

Tastes are also different. One person can enjoy a certain food, but the same thing will be repulsive to an other.
Yes I agree about smokers. I can smell them coming.

Thanks for the feedback, it does look pretty and I was thinking of leaving it in some places - however I decided to remove it. I am sure it will be back next year

Found a bit and had a sniff - I'll go for concentrated laundry. Not the nicest of perfumes is it?
