New Caledonia
We had two very tall chinese cedar trees at the side of our house. We had them cut down but the stumps were left in the ground as they were in a difficult spot to remove. There are many shoots appearing now in all sorts of places. We've sprayed them with round up but it doesn't seem to make any difference. Could you please tell me how we can get rid of all the shoots so that they don't return.

You need a brushwood killer such as SBK - drill into the stumps and any large roots with a medium wood bit to make holes about a quarter to half inch deep, fill the holes with SBK, cover and leave. Don't spill it on the soil, don't get it on your skin.
