Don't think of planting before end of month. When you do just put into ground so that sprouts are pointing upwards.

I found (or rather Holly our seven yr old daughter did) that it doesn't really matter. It is best to try and get them the right way up but it is more important to get the soil right and then the care of them afterwards!
I also agree it's not time yet to put them in the ground, wait until the end of March.

you dont want to be planting them just yet its a bit early.
hopefully you have put them in egg boxed with the little eyes
pointing to the sky.leave them for a while in a cool light place and they
will start to sprout ready for you to plant them.
