Last Sunday I applied moss killer on my lawn. On the pkt it said not to mow 3 days before and after. Already the moss has turned black but do I use the electric scarifyer before or after I mow it?

Thanks Roger, when you say "dispose of it" do you mean in the council bin or on the compost heap?

I'd put it in the tip.

OK That seems to be the best idea, not least because there will be bits of grass that will grow in my compost.

Heron, not the compost bin - chemicals you used on the moss may contaminate the rest of your compost if you do.

I would rake out the dead moss (or use your scarifier) and dispose of it before mowing.
