Fuschia. Was tidying up garden today and came across an old established fuschia with only its wooden stems left. When can or should I prune it? I honestly can't remember what I have done in previous years! Many thanks.

I would just tidy it up a bit for now, and in the spring when you see new green shoots appearing, then cut it back quite low, even 2 or 3 inches above the ground.

Thanks Lizziebee. Thought I'd better leave it alone for now.

I do nothing with mine except put some mulch on to protect if there's a severe frost. Don't prune until you see signs of new growth.

How do I say thanks?
