I have just bought some lupins and wish to know if it will be safe to remove them from their pots and plant them .

You need to harden them off first and cover them until all risk of frost has past

if they have been outside at the gc then yes they are safe to plant. but if they have been indoors then Great is correct. Harden them off for about 2 weeks.
