Does anybody know what is wrong with my Rhododendron? I bought it 2 years ago but had no flowers yet. The pic shows how it has looked lately.
The camelia also look not heathy, lost the buds and leaves last winter. What should I do?
Thanks.

i would check they are potted in ericaceous compost, i would then remove all dead leaves and feed well, looks like the camelia needs it. Dont forget, in pots they really on you to water them, also check for vine weevil, they are eating roots as we speak...

I suspect that they are potbound and need re-potting in something larger.

I will repot and use ericaceous compost.
Thank you all!

The camellia looks like it has been potted to deeply, a definite no-no with practically all plants. The topmost roots should be less than 1 cm underground.

Hallo to you all from Germany..this question is about Rhododendrons.
i was told you can get very small rhodendrons suitable for rockeries
Hi and welcome to GoY have you been watering and feeding regularly? Are they both planted in ericaceous compost? Are they in part shade and not an area of strong winds? The rhododendron in particular looks very stressed and I suspect could be pot bound. Will therefore need planting into a larger container with good ericaceous compost and kept well watered.
