Have to say we've never fed a raspberry with anything! We planted 30 new canes this year and whilst himself made sure there was a lot of good quality organic matter in the trenches that is it we wont do anything else to them.

Hi Moon Grower & Great.
In the end I grew 3 canes in a tub, and have had a lovely supply of Raspberries, cos the berries are so lovely I have now cleared an area, (nicked some of the flower bed) and will be transplanting the new canes next spring, with hope for a bigger harvest next year
Sorry for delay in answering never read the blog properly.
Thanks to the both of you...

Nanajen you would be better to move the canes in the late autumn if you can.
