My new runner bean plants are loosing the top green layer of some of the leaves, leaving a paper thin crispy layer of leaf. It's like the leaves are somehow pealing off in patches, which gradually spreads to just about the whole leaf. It's mostly the bottom leaves that are affected. I've searched gardening websites but found nothing. It doesn't look like halo blight or any kind of fungus. I'm about to plant them out and wondered if there's anything I could do. Or whether it's a virus and I should get rid of the plant?
