West Yorkshire, United Kingdom
I have recently taken a gamble and purchased a large fan trained lemon for positioning against a south facing wall.
I am aware this is risky, but I have heard that growers in Italy ( where many plants for sale in the UK are grown )have successfully brought plants through winters of -15c with the protection of only a unheated poly-tunnel.
I am a trained horticulturist so am taking a calculated risk although I would love to hear from any body who may also have tried such an ambitious feat.
