One of my borders has some sun in the morning but the rest of the day it is shade. I have the white flowering Montana and a Nelly Moser growing on the fence on that side quite sucessfully, The Montana buds are ready to open and when they do they light up the area.

If you really do mean a spot with no sun at all then no it wont, likes to have good sun but a cool root run.
