Money plant meaning houseplant, I take it - general purpose Miracle Gro will be fine.

There is an ericaceous fertiliser available in the garden centers that will probably do a better job than Miracle Grow for your azaleas.

Just what I was going to say...

I would not suggest using Miracle Grow for erics!

Well we're all different - I would definitely use the MIracle Gro general purpose on azaleas, if that's what I'd got - but then I'd probably compensate by using Sequestrene iron tonic once a year, IF the plant was chlorotic.

For me, Bamboo, there are two issues with Miracle Grow fertiliser. Firstly, it is a chemical product and we prefer to garden organically 'as far as possible'.
An important second reason though, is that Mirascle Grow is very high in nitrogen (24-8-16). This will encourage soft, lush foliage which is not what I would want in an azalea.

I take your point, Bulbaholic, and I would always use Growmore in fact, out of preference, and then only once a year, usually in Spring - but the Miracle Gro will be absolutely fine as a once or twice feed in the growing season - as long as its not used past mid June, which is when feeding of most perennial plants should cease anyway.

Yes, all plants can be fed with miracle grow ( it does exactly what it says on the tin ), but you need to mulch with ericaceous compost and they will be fine
