Ten inch high Camelia? Should I pinch out the top of the two cheaply bought Camelias ( from Lidl ) ,that cost the two for £3. ? They have roots but only the one stem which is showing the top just budding out. So cheap that I could not resist buying them ! I do have mature Camelias but have never succeeded with propagating more. They were in with the currant bushes all on offer !

I may be wrong but I wouldn't yet, my instinct would be to let it grow and make a healthy root system and good leaves and branches, if you pinch the top you are liable to get a forked top, if you let it get taller then pinch out it should start to bush out then, i'm not sure how quickly they grow but it could take a few years of careful nurturing, watering, feeding potting on etc and shelter in the winter but hopefully you'll get lovely cammelias that you've pretty well grown yourself
