My 3yr old Wisteria grown around a wood Pergola has produced blooms for the first time , (over 40) however now the flowers are opening they are thin and weedy., with no substance to them. Can you help pleas ?

as it goes i believe getting flowers with know human intervention before about 7 years is a realy good sign.

Any chance of a photograph, Ossie, or do you know which cultivar you have (the full Latin name, all of it?) Because if its a Wisteria floribunda of some variety, the blooms on these are not as impressive as on Wisteria sinensis, being sort of thinner and wispier, mostly because the flowering season is longer.
