lonicera belgica. I have planted two plants in the ground stems look as though they may have developed white powder. Third plant has been planted in container the leaves have got dark bloches on them any help as I am a brand new gardener. from barbara neill west sussex

White powder is usually mildew - spray with a fungicide which treats for it. Hard to say what the dark blotches might be without a photograph.
