I have just realized I have laid out and planted my veg patch under a laburnum tree will I be able to eat the veg without the risk of poisoning?

yes of course you can. The seeds of the laburnum are poison if you eat them, so dont eat them :o))

Thankyou for your information, I have picked about the only spot I have for the veg, I'm hoping they get enough sun, time will tell, I have only had the garden since last July and still don't know what's in it, so will probably use this site for some more answers. Once again thank you

Hi Steve and welcome to GoY growing your veg. under the laburnum will not cause a health risk. However, veg. need a good deal of sunlight to grow and ripen which is unlikely in the shad of a tree. Which veg. did you actually plant?
