My daughter has been given a plant named betulia. I have never heard of this plant. Does any body know of this plant and is it a house plant or out door plant. She lives up in Scotland so i can't even see what it looks like. Am informed it has tiny red flowers. Thank you.

Oh thank you so much Drc726. That was a quick response. Will send it on to her. She dosn't know a thing about gardening. I used to look after her plants when she lived down here in Birmingham. Was surprised to hear she was taking an interest in her plant gift. Hope it survives so i can take a cutting when i go up to visit her.

Found this info for you on internet. BETULIA is a remorsefully cheerful plant, a bushy little thing with waxy leaves and colourful flowers in dazzling shades.
It is a variety of begonia which will flower in semi-shade indoors or outdoors, right through the summer. The colourful flowers give it an instant impact. It is the alcopop of the plant world — bright and harmless looking, but with a distinctive kick. The begonia is a staple of the old-fashioned school of suburban gardening and there is an enormous market for that.
