You should be seeing signs of growth now. If you feel gently in the top of the trunk there should be some "bumps" which are the new croziers for this year. Make sure you keep the trunk well watered and water in the top....adding about a tablespoon of sugar to a full watering can. This should kick-start your fern.....This treatment definately works!....good luck!
